What can I hope to gain from the therapy process?

I focus on giving you practical tools for your day-to-day life, but our ultimate goal goes much deeper than just managing symptoms. By pairing everyday skills with self-insight, we build a foundation for lasting change. Everything we do is designed to help you become self-sufficient, so you can walk away with the confidence and resilience to handle whatever life throws your way.

What can I expect from my first therapy session?

Our first appointment is really just a conversation. The main goal is to understand what challenges you are facing and what you’re hoping to work on. From there, we’ll talk about your background, your family, and your relationships, so I can get a fuller picture of who you are. This initial meeting is also a great opportunity for you to ask questions and see if my approach feels like a good fit for you.

How long will therapy take?

It really depends on what you need, as everyone's timeline looks a little different. It comes down to what you're facing, what you want to achieve, and how you apply what we work on between sessions. Therapy looks different for everyone; some benefit from short-term care to address a specific challenge, while others utilize longer-term support for deeper, ongoing growth. No matter what, we will regularly check in on your goals together so you always have a clear sense of your progress.

Is there anything I can do outside of session to help my progress?

Absolutely, what happens between our sessions is where the real growth takes root. Once we get to know each other and map out your goals, I’ll often suggest specific reflections, exercises, or practical tools for you to try out. Staying consistent with these small practices outside of our appointments usually makes a huge difference in how quickly you start seeing and feeling the changes you want. Your active participation is one of the most powerful pieces of the puzzle.

Are your services offered online or in person?

I currently offer telehealth sessions exclusively, conducting all appointments over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. 

Do you accept insurance?

While I generally do not work in-network with insurance companies, I am happy to assist you in obtaining out-of-network coverage if your insurance provides. If you qualify for a clinical diagnosis, I can send you a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company.
