About

Academic Foundation

I graduated Yeshiva University with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, and then earned my doctorate from Pace University's School-Clinical Child Psychology program. This PsyD program included a dual focus in school and clinical settings which allowed me to develop a specialized understanding of the unique challenges faced by children and families, while also mastering the complexities of adult mental health.

Post Doctoral Training

Following my doctoral studies, I completed advanced postdoctoral training at Achieve Behavioral Health in Monsey, NY, and the Center for OCD and Misophonia in Passaic, NJ. These placements provided me with intensive experience in treating a variety of complex disorders and specialized conditions, further refining my clinical skills in a professional, community-focused environment. Today, as a Licensed Psychologist, I integrate my diverse experiences to provide high-quality, compassionate care that meets the specific needs of each individual I serve.

My Approach

I believe in an integrative and individualized model of care. Therapy should never follow a rigid, one-size-fits-all framework, instead, treatment must be carefully tailored to you and your needs. Central to my work is the power of the therapeutic relationship, which is built on trust, curiosity, and genuine human connection. I strive to cultivate a safe, warm, and nonjudgmental space where you feel fully understood, supported, and appropriately challenged as you navigate your path toward lasting growth.

In my practice, I support individuals, couples, and families in strengthening emotional awareness, improving communication, and building psychological resilience. Rather than relying on a single method, my work seamlessly draws from several evidence-based and insight-oriented modalities. This comprehensive approach helps identify the patterns that may be holding you back while equipping you with the practical skills and self-understanding necessary to navigate your own challenges effectively.

To achieve this, I integrate elements of a number of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic approaches, among others. Blending these approaches allows us to develop practical tools for change while also exploring relational dynamics and underlying patterns that contribute to distress.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, parenting difficulties, or major life transitions, my goal is to equip you with adaptive ways of coping. By fostering greater self-understanding and resilience, we work together to create sustainable, meaningful change.
